A compliment doesn’t have its effect if it’s over the top.

It also sounds like you barely knew her. That’s something I might tell my longterm GF but not some other girl I’m just talking to.

I would reword it as “you have an unique style and look which I really like”.

That was an awful compliment. It is both cringe and creepy.

This isn’t the 1930s, trying to sound like a poet when complimenting chicks is a sure fire way to lose.

I’d recommend you read a book called How to Be a 3% Man by Corey Wayne just to put you on some game.

If you're interested in being romantic with her, jokingly give her the compliment again when she brings it up and laugh. If she can't laugh with something like you teasing her, it's not going to happen, focus your energies elsewhere.

Saying her “imperfections” make her perfect is kinda a backhanded compliment and kinda implies that you find parts about her unattractive. Kinda a wack and cheesy compliment. If you’re gonna compliment, make it more simple/vague. No need to be extra.

That would be more appropriate on someone you have been dating for a while. Also, there's nothing wrong with it. That is just a creative way to say: "I see nothing wrong with what you would consider an imperfection in yourself", loving the good and bad of a person. It is not meant for low IQ people. They'll quickly call it "weird" or "cringe".

Eh, I read this compliment more as “You’re perfectly imperfect, just like the rest of us”. Not really calling her perfect, it’s just saying she looks fine and not ugly. She just didn’t think about it deep enough, she latched onto perfect, what mans really said was “You average”.
