My first date with this girl I’m talking to (met on Bumble) was getting coffee and then chatted for an hour.
The second date was getting Mexican food; and then chatted for an hour and a half.
The third date is this Saturday and she’s coming over to my place to cook dinner together and watch a movie.
If everything continues to go well, which I do believe it is considering she’s agreeing to come over and whatnot, then I’m going to try to escalate things further, but I’m also unsure as to exactly how I’ll go about it.

Break the physical barrier early. If you sit down for the movie and you haven’t gotten the tension going yet, you’ll make it awkward unless she cuddles right up to you. Get some kissing in the kitchen before you even eat, and the rest will be much easier.

Very good point. I’ll definitely go for the kiss before dinner. Also, we’ve hugged and held hands on the second date, but I don’t consider those truly as “breaking the touch barrier.” So I’m definitely going to have to make a more personal move on this date.

In private it should be easier. Get her to help around the kitchen or something and you’ll “bump into each other” enough that you should be able to get a moment when the energy feels right.

Considering it's the third date? Yeah. If you don't kiss her or make a move she's going to wonder what's wrong with her or you and that won't be good for anyone's self-confidence haha.

Bro I got u: Lay out a few big blankets by a nice open spot either by a lake, the beach, or anywhere with a nice view. Bring music, food, some wine or beer, and a card game that’ll get u guys asking questions about each other, that way u guys will always have something to talk about. Never Have I Ever or Let’s Get Deep are some card games that I’ve had on dates. Those are usually the best dates because remember that the girl is mainly there to get to know you. Simplicity is key.
