Yeah I’ve seen online dating post corona as FAR worse than pre corona. I said fuck it a month ago and focusing entirely on offline game. It’s working well. It keeps you sharp socially and even when you don’t get a number, you get great experience that you can use to your advantage with the next girl. Online dating does absolutely nothing for your social skills and offline game and is a dopamine dump factory.

I've thought about getting rid of them entirely. I kind of work two jobs so it's difficult especially since I work on weekends, and I'm absolutely drained at the end of the day. I'm focusing a lot on my passion so I'm busy, but do want to meet girls. Luckily I work from home so I've started going to the library and various coffee shops around town

I feel ya. Yeah, try day game during times when you’re already out and doing things. That way there is no opportunity cost to you. And also go out for a couple hours once per week to do night game.

I have to disagree slightly, if you take online dating off the apps and into phone calls, zooms or voice texts you learn so much about yourself and the other person and even if the match didn’t work out, you still got experience from talking to them and know what you want and don’t want on the next one.

If you get them on the phone or video call, then yes I agree that’s good practice. The problem is that’s a minor percentage of the time spent with online dating.

Crapshoot for me but for different reasons.
Got back into online dating and used only Hinge (bought preferred for three months since it worked in the past) and free Tinder. Hooked up with 7 women from there in a few months. The last one I dated for a month before we broke up and then got back on online dating.
That's when I remade my Hinge, Tinder, and Bumble profiles and got a whopping five or so matches between all three (because of the noob boost I guess, then nothing). This is with the same exact bio and photos as before. So it seemed to be an algorithm problem or something.
I just hate the idea of putting my romantic life in the hands of incompetent dating app algorithms.

Online dating apps are good for easy lays for very hot guys. Otherwise, it's a huge waste of time for men.
I have been laid off those apps, but the time cost is way out of line and the quality of my partners was low.

I started using all the apps a month ago and have had a grand total of 3 matches (2 Hinge, 1 OKC), 2 conversations, and 1 date. Date went extremely well then the girl ghosted me. Was the most confusing thing ever. Yeah its really bad and I am about to just delete everything for my sanity and just try to get out more.

OK do this. Download tinder, okcupid, plenty of fish, and bumble. Make profiles in all of them. Now swipe right on EVERYONE. Then pick from your matches. I can get ten a day usually with this strategy.
