She actually does modeling as well. But like I mentioned, it’s what “I consider a 10”. I’m sure everyone has a different criteria. She’s very intelligent which made her a total package for me. (Currently goes to Columbia business school)

Thanks dude! And I’m 28. Usually when I go out for brunch with my friends (on the weekends) I just approach girls in the restaurant. Either waiting in line or while waiting for bathroom I just start a friendly convo. I try to approach a group of girls so it doesn’t look too creepy. You kinda just need to learn how to read the vibes. But most of the time the girls don’t mind. Especially when everyone is tipsy at 2pm in the afternoon lol and then I set dates for during the weekdays after work. I have a date later tonight with some girl I met last week. I don’t even remember when I got her number but she texted me so I guess it worked out.

Hey man can you give more advice on how to date in NYC? I’m 22 and want to start dating but have no clue how to go about it. In my head I plan to use dating apps and meet girls somewhere downtown for a date(coffee or something) but I live uptown and with my parents so coming back to my place is out of the question right now

That’s kinda tough my man. Having your own place or somewhere you can go to after a date is a game changer. I lived in NJ not so long ago but worked in the city and I would usually get an Airbnb for the week whenever I had a lot of work. So I would use that week to set dates just in case I was able to escalate the date into something else.
You can always get a hotel and say that you’re just visiting so it doesn’t look too creepy. I think whenever girls hear the word “hotel” they automatically think “this guy is trying to have sex with me” and you don’t want that. So you just have to very careful it doesn’t sound like that’s your primary motive. I have stayed in a hotel multiple times but mainly because of work and have told my date that I’m not from NYC and just staying for the weekend and if the date goes really well then they won’t mind coming over.
It also depends on what’s your ultimate goal. Are you trying to close every time you go out? Are you just trying to get to know them first? Just exploring what’s out there?
What I would do in your shoes is to meet as many girls as you can for coffee and just try to see which girl you have the most chemistry with. No sex yet because you don’t have your own place. You should be upfront that you don’t have your own place at the moment and maybe once you get comfortable with one another, plan a weekend together and get an Airbnb or something like that. And that’s when you close. Just my 2 cents!

I would def say my goal would be to get as much experience as I can get right now. As I am now I doubt I can close on a first date(but I also don’t know if that’s easy to do or not) but I do want to lose my virginity at the very least.
So you recommend sticking to basic dates? Meeting for coffee/going to park kind of stuff at first to gain experience?
100 percent! Just try to get comfortable and try to have fun. I think dating and seduction is a numbers game. The more girls you talk to, the easier it will be for your to figure out what works for you. Every date will be different so there is no perfect strategy that will conquer them all. Some dates will be amazing and some will be horrible. But then you learn from them and try to use them to your advantage in the future. It’s a learning process at the end of the day. But you have to go out there and try it first hand. No book, video or class is going to teach you how to do it better than you trying it yourself.
Stick to the basic for now. Coffee, museum or walk in the park. And just try to keep things very playful. That works for me every time. If you can make her laugh and there is some level of chemistry then she will want to hangout with you again. And just try to build a more intimate connection the more you hangout until sex happens naturally.
You want to be a natural. That’s where you(myself included) want to be essentially.

What does a successful date where you specifically go for drinks look like? I've never done it before so I don't know anything. Do you just talk about random things while ordering various drinks or do you also order food? Also do you split the bill or do you pay for everything?
I think it depends of the setting. Like if I go to a cocktail bar, it’s mostly to drink and chat. Maybe a few appetizers(that we share together) but never a huge meal or anything like that. And I definitely pick a place where it’s quiet and I can chat to my date without screaming. I do my research so I know some amazing cocktail bars in NYC that are my go to.
If we go for dinner to a restaurant, then we definitely ordering appetizers, entree and desserts + drinks. I always try to be very playful. So for example I do this thing where I let my date pick my drink and I pick one for her. And we just share drinks whenever we get new ones. It helps build a playful connection.
And most of the time I always pay on the first date. If a girl ever offers to pay, just stop her and say “You can get the next one ;)” it always works.
