I was dead-set on getting my haircut today as I've needed one for the past couple of weeks, and this afternoon was my best bet with my schedule.

I walk into the barber shop and there are three gentleman already waiting, and I walk up to the front desk to get checked in. The young lady says "Well... There is only one stylist on the floor, and the other should be back any minute... I think. The wait should be... Um... About... 20 minutes."

Now, I REALLY wanted a haircut, and I had all afternoon to get it cut, but I walked out. I didn't realize until I was driving home that I could've easily waited 20 or so minutes to get a haircut, but the girl behind the front desk sounded so unsure of herself, that when she said "...um... About 20 minutes" I doubted her sureness.

THIS IS WHAT GIRLS THINK WHEN YOU'RE UNSURE & UNCONFIDENT IN YOUR APPROACH.

I couldn't believe that I walked out of a barber shop all because the girl sounded so irresolute in what she was saying to me.

I guess what I'm trying to say is BE SURE OF YOURSELF and BE CONFIDENT. Women can tell when you're not.
