Don't even ask her about it at all, a dominant person knows they are dominant over others. If you ask her about the other guys, you'll show her that you are weak and you actually see the other guys as competition. A dominant person isn't worried about others because he already has the prize and has better things to think about.
[–]tootzwe 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This so much. A dominant guy wont care about these orbiters bc he's the cream of the crop and he knows it. And besides, he (hopefully) has other options out there so its not too big of a problem in the first place. So the improbable possibility of her seeing another guy wouldn't bother him. :)
[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 10 years ago (26 children) | Copy Link
So ignoring a potential problem is dominant?
How about being upfront about it and clearly telling the other guys what's up.
[–]funksteeez41 points 10 years ago [recovered] (17 children) | Copy Link
Ignoring potential problems is not dominant. But to a dominant person, these weaklings orbiting the girl aren't worth classifying as a problem because you already won the girl. And no need to be upfront. You don't see sports champions going up to the losers right after the game on the field being upfront and clearly telling the other players what's up and why they just lost to you and how they won't ever beat you.
Any other brain busters?
[–]enkae7317 5 points6 points7 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This is extremely good advice. She's all over your nuts already whats the point of trying to tackle all the orbiters too. Let her do that.

It's almost like there are multiple ways to handle different situations and depending on the person/solution/situation the outcomes may be different.

Your ego is showing and it's unbecoming. You're really trying to prove your worth over the Internet.. Congrats on being your definition of "dominant".

YOUR ego is showing now.

Thanks for being vague, not all ego types are bad.

If you don't want to hear answers then don't ask questions
[–]thegg99 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
This is the part that triggered him. You essentially said it was a dumb question to ask because the question was so obvious.
[–]funksteeez2 points 10 years ago [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link
Do you think he asked a good question?
[–]thegg99 -3 points-2 points-1 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Does it matter?
[+][deleted] -11 points-10 points-9 points 10 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
I and everyone else want to hear the best. Don't assume your word is absolute.
[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
He didn't. He just made a clear answer and also illustrated why your point of view wouldn't suffice. That may not be the best possible answer to your question, it may not be the only possible explanation either.
But he did give a good explanation. No need to get so angry about it.
[–][deleted] -5 points-4 points-3 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Apparently the angry one is the person, not insulting/coming off as arrogant. Makes sense.
[–]Gunnilingus 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Passive-aggression is still a form of anger.
[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
You shouldn't even consider them "potential problems", that's just being insecure.
[–][deleted] -4 points-3 points-2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Sure cause everything's just gonna go the way you wish.
[–]happyself 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I think he was saying, definitely don't bring it up to the girl, and for the guys, they will observe all the upfront tells they'll need, when she is wrapped around the winner and they are still just orbiting.
[–]ametalshard[🍰] 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Ignoring a potential problem isn't dominant, but a dominant person doesn't have the same problems as other people.
Any other questions?
[+][deleted] -7 points-6 points-5 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
That's a pretty general answer.
Why would anyone disagree about confronting the problem instead of worrying about how you're perceived. I doubt it could do that much harm to say a few short words about it considering that OP already has the girl.
[–]TheCuriousDude 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
A dominant dude wouldn't even perceive a problem. Why would he? The girl is with him. If the girl is seduced by some random orbiter, it would just mean that she wasn't worthy of him. I'm not sure what you're having trouble with here.
[–]rambopr -2 points-1 points0 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Then you look like an asshole who thinks he owns the girl. That's a slippery slope.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Also: what would bringing these other guys in to the conversation accomplish, other than get her thinking about said guys? It's not like you can control her anyway; either she's with OP because she wants (from the sound of it) to be in a committed relationship with him, or she's not, and she'll be sleeping around, which is entirely out of anyone's control other than her own.
[–]Gunnilingus 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This is accurate. In all likelihood, she'll eventually bring up the other guys who are into her, to see how you react. At that time, chuckle to yourself and say "I'm not worried - those guys aren't competition." And don't say anything else about it.
[–]MetaMainer -2 points-1 points0 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Maybe. She may not stick around long so ya, why bring up feelings. Enjoy it now.

Comprehensive list of all situations in which it is worth worrying about, thinking about, or talking about other people who are interested in the person you're seeing:
[–]Staycharmin 8 points9 points10 points 10 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
My advice goes deep.. You said the other guys don't know right?
By talking about it with her it may seem like its a concern. I wouldn't talk about it. The best things in life are when you know something others don't, and you can affect how that information gets known to people.
With that said.. She thinks ur dominant, shits goin good.. What you need to do is get her in a position where the other guys will see u. When they do, be MR dominant alpha, ALL DAY. kino ur girl, tell her how amazing she is and ask the room, "isn't she amazing guys"... "Im a lucky man". Claim ur motherfuckin territory.
When those assholes see how alpha you are and how sewn you've got this, they'll fade into obscurity and you never had to directly approach or tell them shit. Lets be real, if these cats had a crush on her and never hit on her or got her to where you have, what makes u think she'll drop u for them now that ur alpha n dominant n handling ur biz.
Chicks love "leaders of men" and with that said, its also a way for u to show her that attribute in you, while her weekling friends sit by and watch her swoon over u cuz ur so much cooler than them.
Instead of the direct approach, this indirect amog'ing will shoot you to the top of the charts and other men will fall back. The key is to keep up the secret sauce.. Dont think too much about what else, DO WHATS BEEN WORKING!
[–]RedManBearPig 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link
Aight bro I like you and your advice but we gotta get one thing straight.
What you need to do is get her in a position where the other guys will see u. When they do, be MR dominant alpha, ALL DAY. kino ur girl, tell her how amazing she is and ask the room, "isn't she amazing guys"... "Im a lucky man". Claim ur motherfuckin territory.
I know this would be very solid advice for anyone who is straight up dominant. No matter what a real dominant person will say people will eat that shit up. This guy here though seems inexperienced because he comes with this question to us. If he pulls this off in a wrong way it could ruin almost everything he built. Kino is fine but the letting the world know that she is amazing and his would make the guys bitter, which is good, but it could leave a dirty taste in her mouth and the mouth of her girlfriends if he does slip up just a tiny bit.
EDIT: All I'm saying is you gotta do claiming the right way and maybe that way is not the way for this guy yet. It could come off as insecure.
[–]Staycharmin 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Red ur right bri, for more advanced folks... But you dont get advanced by not pulling the trigger somehow. I dont know his stage so I wont give him day 1 advice... Im gonna give him solid shit that if followed will work. If it doesnt, he may not have pulled it off but hopefully hes smart enought o calibrate it for the next time.

Your first point shot through my head a couple of times as well. Been debating that, which landed me here! Thanks for the solid advice.
Anytime... Dont be attached, be ok with losing this chick. Follow my advice and claim it. If you dont get it, ur still ahead of those other chumps with their dicks in their hands afraid to say anything.

Her best friend was/is (idk) in love with her
He isn't a best friend.
[–]bprimed 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I wouldn't be the one to bring this up.
She's with you. Not with them. Being "worried" about other guys who she's not with - she chose you, not them - will come across as insecure.
It's something I simply wouldn't worry about. Have the mindset of abundance. You are the prize. She's not going to throw you away for them. And if she does, she's not as great as you though.
And to your personal friend - any friend worth his salt wouldn't be eyeing your girl. I would slowly start to remove him from your social circle. I would NEVER hit on or flirt with any of my friends' girls with the intentions of getting with them.
[–]ArnikT 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
He said his friend probably have no idea theyre together.. Just sayin, no offense :)
[–]bprimed 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Gotcha. On mobile must've missed that
Oooh this is a complicated one! Without knowing more detail it's really hard to say. I genuinely believe that honesty is the best policy and you should be allowed to have your feelings on the subject, but what is the outcome you want to obtain from her by bringing it up? I'm not sensing any goal except for satisfying your curiosity. Y'all haven't had an exclusivity talk, from what it sounds like - and I wouldn't mention what her friends said specifically, but if you want to have that talk in of itself, then you should. But asking specifically about other dudes seems like trouble.
As someone who has been in this girl's shoes, the guys that I were most drawn to during this period of multiple dating/possibilities were the ones that had little concern about the others in my life, because they were confident in themselves and had other things going on in their life besides me that they were happy about. They were their own person, that depended little on me, and that made them already complete and attractive in my eyes.
[–]Scorproyale 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I think Funksteez sums it up well, but I'll add one thing I've found very important in such matters and pretty much everywhere else. He's telling you to ACTUALLY not care about the orbiters. If you're good at fooling yourself, often you can just pretend to not care, and all the while it's eating at you and affecting your relationship indirectly. You need to work on getting your mind in a place where you truly don't mind instead of pretending you don't care. Fake it till you make it only works if the faking it is moving you closer to the making it.
[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I don't even need to read your post. Simply pretend the other guys don't exist. You should be seeing multiple other women and not be giving the slightest shred of a fuck about other dudes.
[+]GravityUnicorn -7 points-6 points-5 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Casually discuss the topic. Once you are both on the same page express that it's not actively affecting you and that your focus is you and her. Which it should be. If these people begin to interfere and cause trouble, then you grab the situation by the reigns and handle it. Let's face it, some people will always want what you have. That's just life. It's how we handle this information that makes us the dominant deserving one.
