I know, I know... Everyone has different learning curves and I should simply focus on my own progress and make sure I'm acknowledging sticking points and addressing them. However, I can't help my emotions of bitterness/envy after seeing my buddy just destroy it within the span of 2 weeks.

I've been doing daygame for about 2 months. Been very dedicated and trying to do at least 3-4 days a week. I haven't kept count of how many approaches but I leave most days with at least one number. Unfortunately, the majority of them are flakes. I've been on 2 dates (out of maybe like 30+ numbers) and have yet get laid from this.

Anyway, I talked to my friend about daygaming and he seemed interested. He has done a bit of nightgame before but never really gave it a shot at daygame. The guy is a tall looking, fit, white dude who does really well on online game (I konw it doesn't really matter, but my brain can't help but feel that his aesthetics give him bonus points) and has done about 15 approaches total. Out of those 15 approahces (in four days), he has laid 3 of the girls in the span of two weeks. Most of his number closes have been very receptive and he has other leads coming off of them. I'm pretty astound. Here I came thinking I'll teach him a few things and next thing you know he's just killing it and saying stuff like "wow! This is so easy!". Just yesterday he did 3 approaches, he has 2 dates already set up and the last number didn't respond. I know logically that it shouldn't matter, but I seriously can't help but feel envious and jealous when I've daygamed with him.

It's silly to feel this way but I can't help it. I've been putting a lot of effort into daygame and his effortless success has just put me down a bit, thinking "jesus, am I seriously that bad?".

How does one cope with this? Should I just stop daygaming with him? Should I point him to this thread?
