Big follow up tip:
YOU MAY RECITE A RECOLLECTION OF A SIMILAR THING HAPPENING TO YOU, BUT THAT'S ALL. DON'T OFFER SOLUTIONS. JUST MEMORIZE DETAILS, SO YOU MAY REPEAT THEM LATER.
Only guys tell you their problems and expect you to offer a solution. Not girls. Girls expect you to listen and acknowledge them. Being acknowledged is very important for a girl.
A typical AFC might be : "Oh don't worry! I will give you the $1000 needed to pay back your debt to your sister-in law. Don't worry, I will give you the $3000 you need to visit Vegas. I will even babysit your kids, and I will clean your house; even the 1nch opening between the toilet and the bathtub!"
And she will say "You are a very nice guy." and she will tell her friends: "X is such a nice guy."
Then she will go to Vegas and fuck the bad boy. Then she will go out as you babysit her demon spawn kids, and she will fuck two bad boys at once.
But you are a nice guy, wohoo, you have that going for you. You will be a wonderful husband for a lucky girl one day. (After she fucks half the country while a nice guy babysits her kids).
I know this from experience because back in 2009 or so when I was an AFC: I DID THIS. I met a very hot blonde, she asked if I wanted to see her on saturday night and we met at a bar. She held my hand, kissed me on the lips and sat down with me; instead of escalating and building comfort or making out, I started spewing bullshit about babysitting her kids, cooking for them, buying them toys. YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS UP. I went on for 30 minutes at least. I was trying to "impress" her and "convince her" to be my girlfriend when she was already attracted and wanted to fuck me.
What did she do? She stood up. Walked to the dance floor and started talking with guys, while I wait for her. She danced with guys while I wait. She came back with a guy to pick her purse and I TOOK THE TAB. I paid for her drinks when another guy took her home. She blocked me on Whatsapp and on facebook in an hour or so.
A girl tells me her brother's firstborn died at birth. I hug her, kiss her on the forehead and be quiet. I don't offer to raise their child from death like a fucking necromancer.
A girl tells me she had a fight with her best friend. I listen to her. I memorize names and quotes, and recite them at a later date.
Her, 3 weeks later: "How about we see tomorrow? I'm going to see my friend Maria today.." Me: "Are you guys good now? Did she apologize for telling on you to Sofia when you broke her vase?" Her: "You remember! -kisses me-"

There is so much truth in this, it's bizarre as a man to not try and fix it but just shut up and make sympathetic noises/words every now and then like "I'm sorry" "shit that sucks" "you must have felt awful" if she's telling you something and there is a silence just be quiet and wait for her to speak, if it goes on too long drop in a "are you ok?" The hard part is that they tell you a lot of words, most of it is irelevant and its tricky to keep up with the key facts. If you're just on the phone get a notepad and write a few key words down. Next time you speak drop a couple in. If your in person when you goto the toilet type yourself a reminder or two.

I've written an e-Book about business. I'm only twenty years old, but I have more books to come. The way this post is written is kind of nuts with cursing, but it's really meant to be a PSA to my self, and hopefully help a guy or two out there with the problem of having TOO MUCH FUN with interactions. :)

This is for everything in general not just seduction. You never learn anything if you are the one speaking. You also have a higher chance to say something stupid. Like you said just listen and react. Definitely a practical and simple thing to do.
You're right, and I've been practicing so much. I think meditation, and things of that nature helps, but sometimes i'm just insanely energetic, and i'm trying to get it through my head that I just need to shut up haha, and when I have I've gotten the girls to pursue me, etc
