This may be a rant more than anything.

Been seeing a girl for a couple of weeks now. Talk, sex, hanging out, all is great. We shit talk each other all the time, but we both take it with a smile. She's mad in love with her car. An old black car she's been redoing the interior on.

She's been saving up for a new car and is looking at one in particular. She sends me a picture of the car on Messenger with the text "the only boyfriend I'll ever get" across it. This screams a shit test to me so I jokingly respond, "That poor fella." She never responded past that.

If that's all it took, then that's that. I've generally had luck replying to shit tests in a reflecting, joking manner. But looking back she may have wanted a more serious discussion of our relationship and expected a serious reply. But that's IMO a terrible way to initiate that conversation.
