I (20M) was at the store, noticed this cute girl, so I walked past her just to get more of an idea of what she looked like (it’s hard to do with these damn masks on). When I walked past her we both made strong eye contact, I was looking into those blue eyes for about 4 seconds, and kept walking because I had to get something. After I got what I needed, I needed something else, her number. She was standing there almost like she was waiting for me to approach her. So I went up and used the best pickup line there is, “Hey, what’s your name?”, we chat for a couple of minutes and I tell her I have to finish shopping and ask for her number. I was pulling my phone as I said this, assuming she was gonna give it to me

I was walking to my car when I noticed her getting into her car and she was parked right in front of me. So I smiled and waved at her, she gave me a really excited smile and wave back. So I gestured her to come over all while smirking she gets out of her car and comes right up to me, and looked 10x better without a mask. I tell her “yeah you’re definitely very pretty, come give me a hug”. Without hesitation she jumps on me. We talked a little more, I did this because we didn’t really talk about anything personal in the store. I always like to open a text with something personal she told me, just to show I was listening.

This pandemic ruined all the progress I was making in terms of approaches, for god sake I even downloaded tinder at one point 🤦‍♂️. So this is just what I needed to show girls are still open to be approached.
