I'm more of a day game kinda guy, I go to a huge campus with 60,000 students where I see girls constantly in book stores, coffee shops, libraries, etc. To keep it short, I don't live on campus and I only have a few good friends that I hang out with; however, I do know a lot of acquaintances that have resulted in being more social. The only problem is that I can never escalate with any girl or person I meet and eventually develop something from it.

I think my biggest problem is not being direct enough in my openers with the girls that I do approach. I'll use situational openers or just general questions and thread my way into conversation from there, OR ill just completely troll them with a joke or action that gets them to laugh and open up in the beginning and then talk about shit from there.

The only problem is that I have this insecurity with being direct. I feel like college girls are uncomfortable with the idea of a guy going outright and being completely direct because they aren't mature enough to handle it. Maybe I'm still getting used to the idea of being rejected ALOT in doing so, or the way I'm coming off needs to be worked on.

I'm just wondering if going completely direct on college girls advisable? I'm just looking for input on what works the best.
