Not really. Which means doing it helps you to stand out from the crowd ;D.

Also, in the many times I've tried it, girls respond well. Sets you apart as a more confident and personable.

I just started getting into calling instead of texting. So far, great success. It's a lot more personal, shows confidence, and puts her on the spot when asking them out.

For what it's worth Kezia Noble put out a little "book" (pamphlet? IDK) called something like text and phone game. It basically says you text with a "ping" text and when she responds you tell her you're calling in 5 mins. That's what I got from it anyway.

Iev tried this one and asked it alot among my local community and what I have come to realise and so it seems the rest of them have is that its up to you and your style, I would also note though however that it depends on the type and age of the girls you are getting numbers from, aka a more mature girl mite prefer a phone call as its more mature, were as a younger one may want something less direct.

I call every single time I get a number now. It makes you stand out instantly from the crowd.

The rule of thumb I have for calling is this.

If the girl seems genuinely cold throughout the whole phone call, do NOT ask her out then and instead just text her a couple days later after the call (which in this case should consist of just banter for like 5-10 minutes)

If she is excited throughout the call, ask her out.

This has worked really, REALLY well for me.

Rarely call girls. Not really my think and its too much effort in my opinion, but if she isn't responding to my texs I'll call her 20 times. Basically just do whatever it takes. If you want to see her tonight I recommend calling it's more spontaneous if you're in a fun mood. If you want to meet up next week why the rush?
