You're correctly taking issue with the fact that PUA/game/whatever you call it has a lot of self-congratulatory masturbation. There's a huge validation trap involved, most notably the idea of "lay count" or "notch count." I'm certainly not beyond that, but I'm trying to get away from it myself in favor of a more balanced approach.

I think the answer is twofold. First, game won't make you happy. Second, if all you're interested in is fucking women, you probably have other issues in your life. To paraphrase Mark Manson, you don't sell yourself to this kind of lifestyle unless a bit of you is already dead.

"The Game" is all bullshit. The culture created behind it is a buncha internet dudes who once attain some level of success, want to act like know-it-alls. I've been around some of your top PUA dudes in the field.. you know the guys that all these dweebs worship from RSD and others..

Those guys are douchey AF unless you're friends with them.. in which case you are probably douchey AF as well and become cool based on common ground.

Admittedly, I was one of those guys who when I first started gaining success, I would act like some type of guru to others.. and that's just mainly because of my internet nature.. I was an internet nerd before anything, despite being what friends called a "natural" with women because I was popular amongst the ladies since middle school onward and had a natural progression...

but it was only till i started doing approach that it made me a douchey know it all.. however, i got past that.. because wha ti learned from coaching alot of dudes is, you cannot teach "GAME".. you simply can't. dudes need to be ready for it.. just like you can't make someone an athlete just because they want to be good at a sport

I have to admit that the game has helped me in a sense.But now all I see group of guys sarging everyday, posting field reports & every other guy is trying to be a pick up instructor.

This is kind of vague. Are you around this "group of guys" in person, at a lair, or just on Internet forums?

Secondly, if "game" were helping you, it's arguable that you ought to have been developing all-around social skill, right? So you ought to have a few circles of friends, not just PUAs or guys focused on pick-up. One would hope this is the case.

And when you become a part of an inner circle guys are just boasting about their laycounts,not giving a fu*k about their careers. Worst thing is even after so much social validation from the inner circle,guys don't seems to be happy.

You're describing something that has happened before in the "seduction" world. Hell, just reading to the end of The Game will show quite a bit of introspection from Style as he realized the short-comings of his own journey and the things he still had to work on as a person.

Side-note: this stuff has been floating around for a little too long.

The WHOLE idea of introversion and extroversion, were concepts theorized by Carl Jung, which were never vetted through research after that. Carl Jung himself even said that "everyone individual is an exception to the rule..... This kind of classification is nothing more than a childish parlor game."

It's not that there aren't shy or outgoing people. It's that trying to classify people as one or the other, is massively over-simplifying things. It's not like going from introvert to extrovert is going against one's nature. One's nature can change, in some cases. I've seen extroverts who became introverts in middle school, and then switched back after high school.

Dividing every behaviour of a man is alpha or beta is not right in my opinion.

Obsessing over a guy's behavior like this, is certainly not helpful. Plus, too many guys seem to think that "being alpha" means that they need to have absolute control over everything at all times. Which is impossible.

One thing is that we guys suck at being in a relationship.

We could certainly say that a lot of guys grow up without developing skills like social empathy and healthy communication skills, which would help them in the dating world and in relationships.

But to say that guys inherently suck, is incorrect.

This is all overwhelming and I feel 'Game' don't have all of my answers.

Old school game certainly doesn't. Though the guys who have been where you were, Mark Manson, David Wygant, & Style, for example, are a little further up the road on this journey. They also found emptiness in simply picking up on women and racking up scores. They all moved on to more holistic ways of looking at social interactions and views of what "being a man" means.

Overall, I think there needs to be a distinction made here:

You're not talking about all "game." But rather, the old school game championed by guys like Mystery. A kind of "game" that many of the old school followers of, actually don't follow now anyway. Far too many proponents of old school game, have gone on to things like "natural game," that we can't apply most of the complaints in this thread to all game.

Have you actually read the book "the game"? It hits all your points and shows the same lifestyle. Reading it makes it pretty clear how to avoid becoming like that, cause you'll see it and Neil also gives some insight in what he thinks is important about game. If you dont get anything out of it its a really fun read anyway
