Yesterday I went out to some nightclub and saw this table full of girls which I liked, I WANTED so bad to go with them, but they were super far way from our table and by the design of the nightclub they were sort of enclosed in some area, where I’d have to walk over and sort of cram myself in JUST to open the conversation

My mind thought “it’s not even gonna flow naturally, you have to make yourself walk over there where they’re gonna see you approaching from a mile away, make yourself physically fit in that enclosed area of the club and on top of that open and have a good flowing conversation, just approaching and getting in there would take like 3/4’s of my mental energy”

Then I mentioned the girl’s table to a friend of mine who I consider much more experienced and always cold approaches and surprisingly he mentioned the exact same thing

“Bro they’re super far away and enclosed in that hard to reach area of the club where we’d have to cram in, plus they’re not even continuing our eye contact”

I was relieved he said that as I got the validation I needed that I wasn’t a coward

But was I?

Other friend told me “bro it’s a nightclub, it doesn’t have to flow naturally or be easy, but any table you’d talk to would be fine in this place’s context”

Mind you this is a less experienced guy who pulls way less girls but he was more “outgoing” in that sense

Who’s on the right here?
