being nice will hurt your game if your 'niceness' is fake. If you genuinely are an empathetic and polite person, you can still be successful with girls. Fuck, you can get a lot of pussy if you're nice. Guys who are 'bad boys' get girls because of the confidence they exude, but there is no reason that you can't be nice and confident at the same time. The thing that fucks guys up is when they don't understand this, and try to behave like a bad boy when they're really not that kind of guy, or try to behave like a nice guy, when they're not really that kind of guy (but conditioning has told them to be nice, which is very lame). Be congruent, be honest. This is one of the key themes in Models - be brave enough to show your true intent, and you'll be rewarded with quality interactions.

The meaning of nice guy has changed throughout the years especially in the pick up scene. Being the typical needs, unconfident and always placing women on pedestals, of course that will fuck your game up.

It's not about being a "nice" or "bad" guy, it's about doing what you want and being what you want. That's what attracts girls. It might seem like they're attracted to bad boys, but really those guys are just doing whatever the fuck they want. Girls tend to see as them as bad boys if in comes in conflict with what they want. So it doesn't really matter if you're nice or bad, as long as you're being yourself and doing what you want to do. That's how I've come to see it. If you're going to be yourself, be the best damn version of it. Flaunt that shit like there is no other you.

No, if you're confident and leading, it's fine. I consider myself a nice guy, but I know what I want and don't want. If a girl is being whiny, I'm dropping her ass off. If a girl is trying to ask my to do everything for her, fuck no. I'm a nice guy cause i'll take care of her on my own terms.

I dont remember who exactly said that (i think it was ross jeffries) , but i remember this really nice sentence: "I am not nice, being nice is a place of powerlessnes. I am being pleasant, which is a place of power".

So dont try to please everyone, regardless of your own well being. Be a source of good feelings, be polite when it is the right place, but also do what you want.

I'd highly recommend "No More Mr. Nice Guy" by Dr. Robert Glover. At the very least, please listen to an interview of his where he discusses his ideas.

There's nothing wrong with being chivalrous and polite, that's not how I'd even define a "nice guy." There's absolutely no need to be an asshole either. A problem case "nice guy" may share some of these behaviours, but really there's a lot more going on internally that's negatively affecting his game.

Please have a read of that book, it was definitely an eye opener for me.
