Based on my experience with mangas, yes and no. Of course, seeing personal interactions can serve as a guideline on how to act in certain situations. However, you have to take note that the author is oftentimes not the most sociable person him/herself.

You may even notice projections from the author on certain topics such as women and sex.

There are a countless number of mangas where a main character of no redeeming qualities is drowning in pussy. Why? Because that’s what the author fantasizes about.

If you want to integrate comics and girls you’re just gonna have to find a girl that’s into comics or one who will support you.

I think watching stand up comics, especially during interviews improves social skills, but not comic books. I would recommend that as a way to learn and improve English.

Yes, it will help to improve your social skills, but compared to real interactions with real people it is not effective.

To a certain point yes, it teaches you new words and how to use them, but often times comics will not be grammatically correct, or will use unprofessional/vulgar language. So be wary of what you are absorbing.

Yeah I think comic books will definitely help as they provide slang you can pick up and also give you a visual to understand what context to use your new words when.
