I'm planning to ask out a classmate (HB9). Whenever we've interacted so far, I've always been super cocky, and she responds positively every time. Now, I'm feeling a bit creative these days and hence I came up with this idea which seems quite brilliant to me, but I'd like to get your feedback before acting.

So, this is the idea: Pretty much when we run into each other next time I will tell her that there's a girl in one of my classes whom I find very attractive, and charming. I want to ask her out on a date, and want her female opinion what's the best way of doing that (say because my other female friends get jealous, I need her help since we don't know each other that much and there is no reason for her to get jealous.) Once she starts talking, etc. I'll ask more questions about, where to take her the first time? Should I be pushy? Do I have to kiss her on the first date? Should I take a shower before the date? etc. (as if i've never done this before.) Now, this sends a few contradictory signals, however, my appearance and confidence would suggest otherwise - quite a ladies man. Anyways, once she's done talking, I'd take a moment, and ask her out exactly the way she explained to me earlier.

What do you guys think? I kinda think it's a very quite approach. At the same time, because of all the effort, do you guys think it comes across as too desperate?
