Just a reminder for anyone out there in a similar situation to not put all your eggs in one damn basket, I didn't listen and I sure as fuck paid the price for it, about a years worth of time before finally snapping out of it.

Alright so you know how it starts, I meet a girl, I start talking to her, get heavily invested, and then eventually ask her out. I get turned down. This is where it should've ended, what did I do instead? Decided to stick around and see her go through an entire relationship, sleep with lots of guys after ending that relationship, and still throwing out hints that I'm into her and then getting turned down again while all this is going on. She eventually moves states and I then continued to talk to her afterwards. I don't believe in the friend zone but at this point i've managed to become a really good friend of hers, with me STILL being flirty and all that shit. So she then starts talking to me about guys she's into and other shit. I eventually snapped and told her I don't wanna hear it, and it's at that point that something in me clicked and realized this was all a huge waste of time, in the entire time I did this I could've built other relationships instead.

So really my word of advice is know when to give up, even if you are emotionally invested in a person, don't think you won't find someone else that you'll feel that for, no need to go full simp mode for some chick that feels absolutely nothing for you. At the end of the day dating is a numbers game and the more often you play the more often you win.

EDIT: It looks like a lot of you guys think I'm either mad at this girl or think it's her fault, I don't think either. The only person I'm mad at in this situation is myself for getting things to this point.
