I was afraid of rejection for the majority of my life. Never really dated in my twenties because I was afraid to approach because I just didn’t want to get rejected so I would end up rejecting myself before even giving it a real shot. Now I’m 30 with no dating experience and worried women will deem me as a red flag. I’m trying to better myself now before I waste any more time and just out myself out there. One thing that a few people, including my mentor, have taught me is to be grateful for rejection, because it just means those people weren’t meant to be in my life. It has nothing to do with me, and everything to do with them.

Dude you need to fuck off. I’ve tried helping you sincerely but you just reply negatively to literally everything. Stop spreading your pessimism. Either you want to get better and stop complaining, or you quit, give up, and stay off reddit with your shitty attitude

Lol dude I’m not guessing and I’m DEFINITELY not feeding you PUA bullshit. I’m fed up with you because you haven’t responded positively to ANYTHING I’ve said to you. I am not a piece of work, YOU are. I went out of my way to help you and you just have me a pessimistic rebuttal every single time. I can only give so much advice til it’s obvious you just don’t want to hear it, you just want pity, we’ll I don’t pity you, you aren’t taking anyone’s advice to heart

How do you not see something is wrong with the way you think??? Look at how you write!! You’re defensive, you’re defeatist, your entire attitude is negative. You ask for help and then when someone tries to show you compassion and help you, you fire back with negativity and say shit like oh that doesn’t work, woe is me. I’m done with you dude, go talk to a therapist.

It’s because of your attitude. You may approach but you’re not fixing the internal shit. Women can sense your god awful attitude and don’t want to fuck a negative Nancy. I bet when you get rejected you walk off and pout about it, instead of smiling and accepting you’re not what she’s looking for.

It's a little bit of both, but honestly more of B than A. It's like your success rate is about 1%. Here are some tips to improve that, but you're still going to fail a lot more than you succeed.
Then you start developing an intuition for it, and you stop going for the really lonh shots.
Then you get married or someshit. There's an end game somehow.

I changed my mentality and accepted the reality of not getting hired. It made me less stressed, and in the 12th interview i felt more relaxed and wasn't putting that pressure of getting hired in my head.
Yes. And like you said, accepting that you may get rejected may be difficult, it is worth it.

Long brutal series of rejections & conscious mind-set change.

Reminds me of a scene in Shawshank Redemption when red finally makes parole he had been rejected a few times before and said all the right things, at the right time to the parole board, but was denied. Once he accepted rejection was eminent, he just embraced it and carried on.

Not sure about embracing rejection, accepting it is a better approach. 95% of rejections are you are not what the're looking for (or not looking at all), not that you're not good enough. Accept that, and also they are most likely looking for the wrong thing. The remaining 5% is buy some deodorant or smile more.
