Its beneficial to do this only when both of u are on a series of "live replies" or "simultaneously active", and u need to get out asap.

Leaving her hanging may incentive her to do the same with u, or be a let down (showing disinterest usually not a good idea)

Ideally u won't be needy neither disinterested
