How do you escalate with girls in your friend group without having them feel like a slut (since she and you are both around your friend group), and without you looking like a guy that hits on every newcomer to the group?

Basically, its not like a cold approach where you can escalate and she can reciprocate without worry since she isnt around anyone she knows, and you arent either.

And also because in a cold approach the intent is clear from the get go. The warm lead talk could be taken as just banter with a really touchy guy or like this guy is pretty funny, or idk. Its not as clear i feel. But making it clear could be awkward in the friend group. She may not wanna be seen as a slut, and you dont wanna be the playboy.
