eh, I see what /u/sinslayer said and although I do not disagree with it, I do not see the need to jump back in so quickly

I think the most important thing is just do not be "weird" about it. If you get all uptight about the fact you went out once and try to talk to her all the time, that is bad.

I think it COULD be a good idea to meet up again before christmas/new years but do not think that the connection you had will go away if you do not see her until then.

If I were you: possibly consider texting her in a day or two for a coffee or something and just talk about the holidays and life or whatever and then just agree to try and meet up sometime after it is over.

if you do this you can show that the kiss/night you had together did not change the way you are and that you can still be cool about the situation.

Then, by not trying to really schedule anything serious for the next couple of weeks, you seem like you care a lot about your family and personal life during the holiday season which is traditionally busy.

Overall: If it went well, then she will remember. women always remember how you make them feel. Trying to hang out right away has the potential to push her away, so just be a little cautious. I would be willing to bet if you only casually talked to her over the holidays (merry christmas! how are things type stuff) then after the holidays she will be delighted to pick up where you left off! and it will make you seem much more confident

Hit her up once or twice but cut the convo after each one.

And bring up a completely new topic the next time you do decide to hit her up. Worst thing you can do is drag the same busted conversation out over a week. Trust me on this.

And who says "Don't text unless its to schedule a date"? That's stupid.

Want to connect with her, then connect with her. Call her. Text her. Try to meet up for at least a cup of coffee within the next few days.
