I was approached by a girl at a social event a few days ago. She asked for my number, wanted to sit next to me, and showed a good amount of interest. She texted me later that night, saying it was nice meeting you, and I responded the same way, asking about an event that she had low-key invited me to. Then two days later, I got a text again saying Hey, I'm bored, just thought I'd check up on you. I responded with what I was doing and asked if she wanted to FT. We ended up talking on the phone the next day, and I asked her if she wanted to go out on Sunday, and she agreed.

Today comes around, and I texted her, making sure she is good to go for tonight. She replied that she wants to meet me way earlier, and she seemed extremely eager about it, and it threw me off (first bad sign). I tried to make a compromise with her, but she was dead set on meeting way earlier, so I decided to just show up. Also, I tried to pick the spot where to meet, but she was adamant about going to the spots she knows.... Anyhow, I get there and see her with her tablet out (second red flag), waving me over, so I walked up, gave her a hug to start off kino. We instantly started talking without any awkwardness, but she constantly wanted to show me different things on her tablet, like the music she makes. My brain was trying to wrap around what the fuck was going on because I've never been on a date where the person whips out a tablet and shows me shit constantly. After a while, I said, let's grab a drink and go on a walk. She agreed. I tried to buy the drinks for us, but she didn't want to let me buy them, and when I did it anyway because I needed some type of control over what was going on, she seemed mad about it.

We started walking outside, still talking and laughing. As we were walking, she decided she wanted to sit at this restaurant. We sat there for maybe 15 minutes, I kept escalating like grabbing her hands to look at her tattoos and just doing typical kino/flirting shit. The entire time, she didn't react to it negatively or positively, but she kept talking about herself the entire time. I promise you, she did not ask me one question, we just kept talking about her and random shit. To speed up the story, she ended up wanting to go inside her apartment building to sit because it was hot outside, then there were too many people at the lounge she wanted to sit in, so we went back to the very first place we met. Talked, laughed, she didn't flirt, and when I wanted to walk her back over to her apartment, she decided to walk me to my car......

Overall, the date was weird but enjoyable since it kept me on my toes, to say the least. Also, I don't know if this actually counts as a field report.
