Field Report: University Daygame

So I (21M) have never daygamed before so any suggestions or tips would be super helpful.

So I started off walking around campus and going from one side to the other. While I was walking, I would have a destination in mind I wanted to go to and would ask girls for directions.

One of them went like this while we were walking.

Me: “Hey, do you know where x cafe is?”

Girl: “uhh yeah you (insert directions)”

Me: Ah alright thanks! Yeah it’s a big campus I don’t wanna get lost haha

Girl: (laughed)

5 second silence

Girl: pulls out phone/double checks directions/clarified them

Me: “ah alright thanks, appreciate it.” Are you headed that way as well?

Girl: kinda, my class is right here (walks in that direction)

Me: alright thanks have a good one

Alright, so did I do pretty well for the first one or how can I improve? A ton of these girls are wearing AirPods so it’s hard to approach while walking. I don’t go to this university so I won’t have class with any of them.

Ya there's a lot to get into with day game, so its kind of hard to give specific ideas. But I would say the A+ thing you did was actually walk up to a girl. Just by doing that, you already did the right thing. You may over time try out a template like this...

- Stop the girl in a calm way

- Speak slowly and tell her

u: "I know this is really random, but can I tell you something?"

h: "Yes"

u: "I literally just saw you walking by, and I had to tell you that you looked really nice" (be clear why you are stopping her)

h: "haha" blushes (this is when she will try to walk away, if she doesn't you are at a milestone)

u: "you must be on your way to math class" (make an assumption about her)

h: "no I am just going to get groceries"

u: "ah yes groceries are so important to get, I hate getting groceries its a real pain, etc" (invest in the conversation by riffing on what shes up to, then make another assumption) "so you seem like you only pick up healthy stuff at the grocery store" (repeat the assumption and riffing once or twice)

h: "no I like junk food too" (right now you are in an active conversation with her)

u: "i've been thinking a lot about junk food and how much I love it, but i gotta get the right ones. like frito lays sucks, but pringles are the best. do you think some junk food is better than others or all are the same" (right now you switched from making statements to asking questions)

h: "well all junk food is the same really. i've been caring about it since I was a teen, etc"

now you want to transition from the friendly banter into a "vibing" state, where you are asking her limited and targetted questions, that "link" to what she has already said. and when she demonstrates a quality that you admire, you genuinely give her props for it. And as you slow down your energy, you will create more rapport.

So in a sense you are switching from that bright and friendly opening personality to something a bit more warm and considered.

By this point you have moved from Capture, to Attraction, and as you slow down you are entering Rapport. Adding in some light Kino, or asking for her number, on a high note is a great way to end.

But as I said there's a lot to get into here. Inner game state of mind is super important. Also showing her you are interested in her and act on your desires, but not needy. Feel like the prize. And when you are walking around, have a solid body language and slow pace. Keep your head up. This subconscious body language also adds o her attraction before you even open your mouth.

You've done great by opening the first set. That was an amazing step many don't take.

Keep mixing up theory and practice.

Yea I totally relate. This is one of the paradox of pick up...

Too needy = creeper

Too weak = friend zone

Either way you don't get the girl. Often we want to prove how "non needy" we are, which is fine, but there is no chance for sexual tension to be generated, and the girl has no clue of your interest. This is why I think volume of approaches is fundamental, because it creates calibration for what is too much on one side or the other. Also, each girl is different, so "just right" is actually a moving target which makes things trickier.

Start with inner game, believe you are a catch, express body language that also represents this identity (slow movements). Then when you open, she feels it is a higher value person doing so. And then gradually fall in love with her as she proves herself. Make sure to gradually escalate.

And just be prepared for lots of rejection. Remember, she's not rejecting *you*, she is rejecting your approach.
