First date on Valentine’s Day?

I don't see the problem. If she's single she might feel lonely on Valentine's too. A date could be exciting for her.

In my life I've only had one first date on Valentine's day......and it was beautiful.

I didn't even really plan it but I'm sure you can take something out of this story.

When I'm single, I don't really pay much mind to Valentine's day.

That means I don't feel a different vibe in the days leading up to it and often I don't even realize its getting close.

So I was out just on a regular day it seemed, meeting girls during the day then around late afternoon/early evening I decided to go into this bookstore that I like to go to meet girls in.

It was a pretty uneventful day thus far so I wasn't expecting much but as soon as I made my way to the second floor suddenly I came alive.

I was also a little intimidated.

I saw a girl looking at books on the far isle who was equal parts badass and equal parts absolutely gorgeous.

She had a very crazy style going for her, short hair, artsy looking, and a bit of rock & roll mixed in there too.

And she was probably the most attractive girl I had seen all week.

So of course I immediately approached her.

As soon as we started talking the nerves melted away and I was almost smitten.

Turned out she was an absolute angel to talk to.

So we talked, I genuinely enjoyed the conversation so it flowed very naturally, she enjoyed it a lot too and the number close felt like the most natural thing in the world.

And only after I left did I realize it was actually February 13th.

My first thought wasn't actually, "Oh I should go on a date with her tomorrow".

I definitely wanted to see her again and I all but forgot about the other girls I met that day because she was just so awesome but what I was actually thinking was, "I should do something nice for Valentine's day."

See, the area where I met her is a place I used to frequent a lot during the day because I knew that in my city that is the place with probably the highest concentration of beautiful girls during the daytime.

And I don't want to sound like I'm bragging but I have to tell the truth otherwise I'd leave out a lot of important details to the story so...I've gotten laid countless times from meeting girls in that area.

And in fact, I was already in a polyamorous relationship with a bunch of other girls before I met the badass rock chick in the bookstore.

So I constructed a plan to "give back" since I've already gotten a lot from picking up chicks there.

The plan was simple: I'll go around that area on Valentine's day with my girls and if we met a single girl I'd give her a rose so that she wouldn't feel left out and if we met a single guy I'd let him take photos with my girls who are all pretty damn hot just so he can look cool as a single guy instead of looking like a "loser".

I set that up and along with inviting the girls I'm sleeping with and a few female friends, I also invited the badass rock chick because she's definitely the one I wanted to go home with by the end of the day.

Problem was, she was pretty busy to meet me at the time I set out to do my "Valentine's charity work".

So the day came, I gave away flowers to girls, took photos for single guys and it was awesome.

Problem was, the roses I got ran out fast and on that Valentine's day every flower shop was either closed or sold out, and still no sight of my badass girl.

And that only occurred to me when there was one rose left.

So I was torn between wanting to wait for her and continuing the giving back thing me and my girls were doing.

Luckily the girls were pretty tired from all the walking around and I felt bad for them because they should be having an awesome day too so I told them that they could go home and I was gonna take care of that last rose.

I also made it sound like the only "fair" thing to do was for me to not sleep with any one of them that day.

Yeah, we're polyamorous but none of those girls were into group sex.

Truth is, I just wanted to sleep with someone else. Haha

So I just chill in a coffee shop for about an hour and then I get a text from her, "I'm on my way, you guys still there?"

And I was like, "Yeah, the girls got pretty tired so they left but I still have a few roses to give away."

(Note: I hadn't told her that I was actually sleeping with those girls, I just told her they were my friends.)

So she was like, "Aww...should I still come?"

And I was like, "Yeah sure, you can keep me company while I give away these last few roses." pretending that I wasn't actually just waiting for her. Haha

So she came and I told her how the day went, she thought it was awesome, she saw that I only had one rose left, I looked at her and said, "Yeah, since this is the last rose I need to a give it to a girl that really deserves it..."

And.......I didn't give it to her. Hahaha

I gave it to another girl who looked like she was crying, like she had been dumped or something.

By then it was evening, we were pretty hungry and all the restaurants near us were fully booked so we found a little dessert place and had "dinner" together.

During that I continued to tell her about how the day went and then I got to a part were I bumped into a guy friend of mine who was giving away free hugs.

As soon as she heard that, she said "Lets do that!"

Man, what an awesome chick.

So we walked to the bookstore where we met, picked up some construction paper and markers, some double sided tape and stuck a sign that said "Free Hugs" to our chests.

Turned out, that was a really awesome way to build attraction during the date.

At first, nobody was hugging us even when we had the signs on so I realized I had to pull out some cold approach skills and that's what I did.

I cold approached people and I also taught her how to do it properly.

She was impressed, she was like, "Wow, you're so good at this!"

In my head I was like, "Yeah, you're only like my 10,000th cold approach."

And so as it began to build we moved to this part that was an open square where there are always lots of people walking by and before you knew it, there was a commotion around us with people taking pictures and hugging us and now we could just stand there and people would just come over to hug us.

It was awesome because I could see it was really elevating both our moods but it was also awesome because the girls were actually kinda going crazy over me.

Guys, pre-selection, it works.

It was like the more girls everyone saw were hugging me, the more excited other girls were to hug me.

It was also working on her.

Worked really damn well in fact.

We just kept hugging people until about 10pm when that place got pretty quiet and things in the city started to transition from daytime activities to more of the night club/bar scene.

So when things winded down and I finally called it, we were walking down the street that was already pretty quiet and I could see her giving me these eyes like, "Oh my god I'm so in love with this man right now."

And I was thinking, "Now's my opportunity."

So I said, "You know, there's still one free hug to give away." and I just opened my arms.

She hugged me really tight, I did the same, I held on, she felt it and she held on too and then I just pulled my head back, looked at her and we made out.

After that we went back to my place and had a really wild and passionate fuck.

Damn, its making me hard just recalling it.

I continued to see her for a while after that but unfortunately she wasn't down for the whole polyamory thing and she moved to Japan a few months after so fuck...

But at least I'll always have this awesome Valentine's day memory.

I guess what you guys can take from this is to not have a very high pressure or 'serious' date on Valentine's day if its your first date and maybe you can set up some sort of activity like this to make it feel even less romantic and lower pressure.

Don't worry if it doesn't feel romantic coming into it, as you've seen in my story, it got pretty romantic by the end.
