Gents,
we need some effective measures for flaking control to be assembled in one post. I didn't find any links here with techniques specifically relating to decreasing the flaking rates while in-set or after you get their numbers.
Background: I had some revelations about flaking after a recent evening of direct gaming in a shopping mall where I did four direct approaches and had two of the girls pumped up with attraction and eating out of my hands = :-).
I took their phone numbers and later that night asked them out on dates the following Friday and Saturday nights, and both agreed. Both eventually flaked. To make it short, during texting they both offered me their MSN addresses without me having asked for them, which can only be interpreted as a sign of needing more comfort.
I’ve been preaching a lot in the forum about comfort-building through deep diving, which I feel I’ve mastered most aspects on (check out the link I’ve submitted to an article of this supreme and simple comfort-building technique), and I start the deep dive as soon as possible into the approach. In-set I attempt to find commonalities, and attempt to relate, challenge, and reward as appropriate.
Put another way, I commonly get the attraction, and I should have built some levels of comfort for a meet-up.
However. Many of the girls whose numbers I get still either take too long to get out, so either I don’t get them out at all, or we set up a date and they will flake the same day, and I waste an evening. Maddening! I’ll be the first to throw a technique into the pot:
Flake on the flakers! In other words, arrange dates with several girls for the same night, and cancel on some of them as appropriate. You will come across as unneedy, alpha, and as a refreshing challenge (not field-tested!).
I would like to hear your opinions on specific techniques for countering flaking. Thank you, brothers!
