1. I was walking around school yesterday checking out the different clubs at the club fair when I noticed a girl wearing an awesome-face shirt. I walked up to her and complemented her shirt and started up a conversation with her. She was all smiles and reacting really well to everything I said. She asked me if there was anything I wanted to learn so I told her "everything. anything you want to teach me?" She told me a couple of interesting facts about Japan (the club was Asian culture) and we talked until one of her friends came and kind of interrupted me so I told her it was nice meeting her and left. While I didn't get to close, I did join the club, so I'll get to see her again soon.

  2. As I got on the bus today, all the seats were taken except (conveniently) for one right next to a cute girl. I'm listening to my mp3 player when I noticed her looking at me from the corner of my eye. As an opener, I just asked if she knew how long 'til the bus got to the college. At this point I've realized any opener will do as long as it's not creepy. I asked her some questions about her major and we talked about school for a while. Joked around a bit and told her a couple of funny stories and she seemed really interested. I noticed she kept twirling her mp3 player in her hands which I saw as a really good sign. Should have used some kino but I wasn't thinking about it at the time. Made her laugh a lot and she seemed to enjoy our conversation so towards the end I finally ask her name and number. She gave me her facebook instead which I found pretty amusing. I don't think she had a phone on her but even if she did, I still see it as a success.

  3. Saw a really cute girl I had spoken to before and waved at her. She was looking at me but just looked away. This almost discouraged me but I was just not going to give up unless I was shut down directly, so I went over to sit next to her. As I sat down she smiled and said hello. Apparently she just hadn't seen me. We started talking about music and she mentioned her birthday and that she was going to celebrate it with some friends at a show. Upon reflection, that may have been an indirect invitation. We keep chatting for about 30 minutes until she said it was time for class but she was still sitting and seemed hesitant, so I offered to walk her to her class. As we headed to her class, she seemed way more relaxed and we had a pretty good time just talking and joking around. When she got to her class I asked for her number and she gave me it adding "see you around." Everything went better than expected.
