I recently decided to delete the dating apps from my phone because I felt like they were just a distraction and not really and truly adding any value to my game. Sure it's an easy way to find someone, go on a date, do some kino and fuck after, but the real art is when you do approaches and meeting people in real life. Us humans we are all wired for connections and the artificial connections we make through dating apps just trick our brains into thinking that we have many people out there that we can meet with and talk with when in fact, the number we think we have is likely much smaller.

Nevertheless, since I deleted my apps, I've been looking for opportunities to do more day game approaches and have been going out doing some night game also. For the most part during the day, I don't get much time for day game since I work, but when I get a chance I always try if I find a girl that's attractive.

So today, went to Walmart with a friend who needed to buy some things for his house. While he was looking I saw this girl walk a few isles down from where I was and I immediately thought to myself "Yes, I finally have a good opportunity to do an approach". As soon as I said that, I started second guessing myself, not because I was afraid of her rejecting me or because I didn't have enough confidence in my game, I just had this anxiety almost that was telling me I shouldn't do the approach. A few days prior to today, I remember telling myself that if I see a girl worth approaching, I will definitely approach her and I will not feel any hesitation or have a mental block.

So I said to myself, I have to do it and started thinking about the most recent videos that I had seen on pickup to come up with a follow up questions after I deliver the opener because I wasn't really worried about the opener. I just blanked out on what to say after, in a few seconds I came up with something and I said to myself that I would wing the rest if things go well.

So I go up to the girl and the conversation went something like this:

Me: Excuse me ... Hi

HB6: Hey, what's up?

Me: I just saw you and I thought you looked cute and wanted to come by and say hi.

HB6: Awww thanks :)

Me: Yeah, I know it's kind of odd being that we are in Walmart, but I don't use dating apps to meet people so I figured I'd take my chance.

HB6: Thanks, but I am actually married.

Me: Oh yeah?

HB6: Yeah, I am (showing me the ring on her finger).

Me: Ah ok cool, well then I hope you have really nice day.

HB6: Thanks, you too.

So as you can see the conversation was dry and really trash, but it's the experience that matters. Few things I definitely noticed was that as soon as I did the approach, my nervousness, my anxiety and approach stress were absolutely gone. I mean as soon as I said "Excuse me" and everything was gone, I was in the zone if you will. I wasn't nervous, I was relaxed and honestly had no care about the outcome. Also I notice that she was definitely flattered by the fact that I went up to her and approached her, there wasn't anything specific that told me that, it was just a feeling I got.

In no way shape or form I look at this as a failure, in fact it was a great learning experience. So for those of you out there who may read this, next time go for the approach, if you don't get the girl you will at least learn something that will help you improve and get better.
