Went out last night, saw a girl wearing a hat that had the same colors as my school, walked up to her and opened. I ask her about what she does, chat for maybe 2 -3 minutes and build some comfort while we're waiting for our drinks at the bar. I sense that I need to finish the interaction soon, and I saw something in a video that seemed to work so I tried it out.

"Are you single?"

"Yes"

"Do you think I'm attractive?"

(She laughs at this) "umm.. yeah"

"Can I have your number?"

"Yeah"

And we've got plans to meet up tomorrow already. What I like about the two questions leading up to the number is that it accomplishes a few things before you even waste your time trying to set up a date. It states your intentions very clearly, it gets a verbal confirmation that she would at least go on a date with you, and it gives her the opportunity to reject you multiple times. I haven't had a positive response like this after getting a girl's number in a while. Felt like it could be a useful tool for all of you as well.
