Hi,

So I've know about the game when I read it many years ago, but after a split with my SO many months ago, a bout of depression, I've decided one of the things I want is to be a PUA. So a week or so in, this is my first FR.

So I'm at this rock climbing book launch thing, it's a fairly tight social circle and I know a lot of people there. I start the night feeling good, with the goal of making a significant approach. So it's intermission and I'm chatting to a female friend. One of her work friends HB7 comes and joins the circle, she is introduced to us all but I continue chatting away to FF, I DHV also by having the boss of FF and HB7 come over and want to talk to me. A few minutes later a split second lul in conversation, I introduce myself to HB7.

Oh hey I'm Dannyism, oh hey I'm HB7, so you work for the boss and with FF. We talk about climbing, the chemistry is pretty good and I'm maintaining great eye contact (a big deal for me), I neg her a little bit, she doesn't climb much but teaches kids climbing, so I give the err omg your gunna kill someone kinda tease. I kino a bit by asking to feel her hands, 'oh yeah they are climbers hands, theyre a bit rough'. Then some more kino feeling her muscles. Look this is great for me, I was doing really well.

But.. a few times she moved her face in close to mine, maybe 4 inches away. I didn't know what to do.. Anyway intermission ended.

After the show I waited for the right moment and went back over to her with a plan. Oh hey HB7, I've gotta go with my friend in a second, but I was wondering what steps we could take to continue this conversation later. She blurts in saying she remembered that thing from earlier she forgot. I'm like oh ok great, well I might see you out climbing Sunday.. She says bye Dannyism. I felt she wanted me to stay. I left... feeling like an idiot.

So yeah.. good and bad, as an AFC this was my first ever approach with game in mind. I think maybe I should have tried to keep escalating the situation? Anyway keen to get some input.. Thanks and I look forward to many more posts.
