I've always had AA so I decided to finally try game for the first time and after many hours of not approaching I finally did it casually Friday night at a large venue. I am a decent to good looking guy imo, white male 5'9"" and approached a girl taller than me.

So a girl and her friend were at the bar facing the dance floor, I was a little tipsy so I was subconsciously telling myself my AA was non-existent in this state [I know I shouldn't need alcohol to tell me that] and approached the girl closest to me. Everything I've read about NOT DOING I did... and I didn't realize it until the set ended. First thing I did as I approached was whisper in her ear.

Me: Sorry I'm a little drunk and you're cute. [Yes, I just described that I was drunk which is an immediate turn off strike one, I apologized for my actions before even starting the conversation strike two, I give a compliment but I don't state intentions clearly strike three]

Her: I can see that.

Me: (Leaning in and doing the lame dipping bird movements for everything with no kino) What's your name?

Her: (Her name) (Looks away, doesn't ask for mine)

Me: You seem to give me this cool Miami type girl vibe

Her: Well I'm not. I'm from Chicago. (Turns back to me)

Me: (Tap on shoulder) You really like giving guys a hard time huh? (Looking her in the eyes) I love your eyes.

Her: Thanks. Walks away with her friend.

(I cut my losses here)

I think she was giving me a chance after that first bit but I'm unsure if she just framed her mind with "not talking to this guy" or "he'll have to impress me now to recover"

Any thoughts?
