That has to be like, Achievement Unlocked sort of status there right? If you look at my post history in this sub-reddit, I'm as amateur as they come. But, alright, I kinda cheated. I used my secret weapon. I'm a musician. A pretty good one too. I just haven't played in front of a crowd before, only friends and family. But I recently joined up with a band and we did an acoustic show last night. It was a birthday party for someone and the place was wall to wall with like 60 or 70 people. It was weird, I saw her as WAYYY out of my league so I had absolutely ZERO outcome dependence. I just rocked out, bought her a couple drinks, chatted her up, flirted with her cause I was just in my fucking element and a weee bit drunk. When I closed out our tab at the end of the night, she wrote her number on the receipt. That's how gorgeous this girl is, I never would have even considered asking her for it, but she obviously was into me that much. And before you ask, she's already texted back today, so it's even her real number, haha. Bottom line I guess is you never know. Just do your thing. Be yourself and you might be surprised.

Quick side note: I noticed this dude that was sitting at the bar away from everyone. He was right next to where we were set up, so I thought, "Hey, maybe he just likes music more than crowds shrug". During one of our breaks, I stepped outside for a minute to mess with my phone and get away from all the noise. Dude comes up to me and gets all in my face, telling me if she's going home with anyone tonight, it's gonna be him, and I need to fucking watch myself, and keep away, and blah blah blah. I was totally floored! I literally told him that I wasn't even trying to get her to go home with me. Which was the sad truth...I was just having fun. But apparently she was reciprocating heavily if this dude started getting all concerned. I asked her about him and she's like, don't worry about him, he's nuts, here all the time, etc. Talk about fucking oneitis....

But anyways, feeling awesome today!!
