Opened a bunch of sets today. I've been doing this for a long time, so I'm narrowing down my choices. I am actually looking for a girlfriend, so I only approach girls that I am really attracted to.

I opened this really attractive girl who was just my type. Super pretty face, interesting tattoos, my age (recent college grad), smart, etc.

She was hyper condescending and frigid. She wrote me off from the first interaction. But let's not fuck around here. I opened her friend, and won her over and she was hugging me and squeezing my face. She backed away and let me talk to girl #1 isolated.

I talk to girl #1 for like 10m. It was grueling but I kept at it. Eventually she tells me she isn't attracted to me. I ask her what type of guy she is attracted to. She says "grungy guys with long hair" I look at her dumbfounded. I AM a grungy guy with long hair. She looks like she fucked up. I calmly asked her what she meant. (I know at this point gaming her is over, but I want to know if there's something I could improve in my approach).

Then she says it: "You're too short."

I'm 5'8". She's 5'4" and petite. I usually date girls 5'7" - 5'9" and a few 5'11" girls as well. Height doesn't matter.

But it did in this case, and I don't know what I could have done. I'm so used to it not being an issue that when it does become an issue, it just hurts and I wish I could be taller. But that's impossible, so I just continued to open more sets.

Just have to work to be more resilient.
