So today I decided that it was time to talk straight with the coffee shop girl. I'm pretty outgoing so just talking to someone isn't that big a deal for me. The entire foundation of this subreddit is, though.

Walked in, it was just me and her, I ordered and after she asked me for my name she said "Oh damn I knew that."

I said "haha it's all good, yours is Stephanie right?" she seemed pretty happy that I remembered.

We had a nice conversation in which we talked about her school, schedule and co-workers. She asked about my job, I kept my answer pretty brief. This entire time I was really listening to her, remaining composed and confident, making good eye contact.

I got my drink.... and then I just left. I'm now kicking myself big time. I wrote this in hopes that you guys would talk some sense in to me and also so that I might better remember my mistake the next time.
