Well I Failed Tonight

Let me preface this by saying tonight was a night of complete failure. I've been in a slump lately and I told myself I'd get over my AA and approach girls, and I didn't do that at all. I switched from bars to clubs, and apparently my club game is just awful (I don't even know how to approach a girl on the dance floor, especially when crowded and you can barely move.) I talked to one girl while waiting in the line for the bathroom, she started getting physical with me a bit but that died out quickly because once she started flirting with me, her friend shot her an evil look and she instantly turned her back on me towards her friends...

The Important Lesson

I'd see hot girls (lots of hot girls), and got way into my head trying to figure out what the hell to say to them since I'm big on the situational openers. Never wound up opening any of them because I couldn't find anything situational. Got frustrated with myself and I left to go get some pizza. In the pizza parlor this guy walked in, and turned to the girl next to him:

"How are you doing" "Fine, how are you?" "Oh I'm good, what's your name." "BLAH BLAH BLAH" "Nice to meet you, I'm blah blah blah"

Yeah, it was short lived, but he just went up to her and started talking. No openers, no situational crap, just a simple "hi".

Trying to Internalize The Lesson

While this won't help me with my shitty dance floor game, I hope to internalize this, maybe ever write a little something on my hand to remind myself when I get into my head. Tomorrow is another night and I'm going to try to force myself to do this. (Especially when there are girls TRYING to get my attention, dancing next to me, etc)

TL;DR: Been in a slump, barely approached anyone due to being in my head... but learned hopefully a game changing lesson. Now if only I can figure out how to internalize it. Also, I don't think rejection bothers me, but awkward situations might.
