Ok so I've been reading this subreddit, trying to better myself, and today I went to a coffee shop with the intent of opening at least one girl. I opened one girl to no avail when she quickly put her headphones in as I asked her her name.

No sweat off my back, rejection happens. Made me better for it, right? I intended to open another really cute girl when my parents call and ask for a quick favor.

Being the great 23 year old with a broken arm who is recovering at home, I oblige and quickly meet my mother at the mall so I can give her some trinket she forgot at home.

Then I think to myself, What am I going to do? Go back to the coffee shop I've spent about 2 hours at already? Fuck that, let's try this unoccupied, unpopular mall, That'll work!

Well, boys and girls, I'm here to tell you it did. I first head to Spencer's in order to find my Older Brother a birthday present and to just cruise around the mall looking for any pretty girl to open, and I quickly found a present and left. Then I went to American Eagle (Slim pickings when it comes to clothiers in this town)

Well there she was, HB8, blonde, skinny, just my type. Beautiful boots and and a cute beanie. She goes through the whole song and dance, "our sales are here, that stuff is there," BS and I tell her thanks, I'll just be browsing (Oh, am I browsing).

I find a nice looking scarf I'll need for the winter when I move back to NYC, and she comes near me and compliments it. (Yes she was trying to get me to buy it, she works there, I know). But she also says it's not so cold in Louisiana, why am I buying it?

Assumed attraction, and went for it. Just talked. Talk talk talk, chat chat chat, she rings me up (the scarf was 8 bucks cuz it was 70% off since LA is a fucking SAUNA this winter) and she wishes me luck in NYC.

WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST DO, MUD? YOU HAD THIS GIRL AND YOU FUCKING LEFT? WHAT THE FUCK DUDE?

Calm down, man. Keep that inner game strong. It's ok. You talked to her right? Good job.

Fast forward about 20 minutes, I've looked through the rest of the mall, there's nobody. There's nothing appealing in the apparel. So I'm heading back towards the entrance/exit near my vehicle that happens to be next to American Eagle.

Go in. Ask her her phone number. It wont be weird. Do it. Do it.

As I go in, she is starting to leave. I walk in and shes got that cute beanie on and says, "Hey, what are you doing here? Did you forget something?"

And I said the smoothest thing I've ever said in my life.

"Yeah, actually, I forgot your phone number."

The fucking look on her face, man. The look of dismay. Of shock. Of excitement. IT was ALL there. She happily obliges and we just so happen to be walking the same way to our cars. I ask her if she likes coffee, she actually likes beer. I send her a message immeadetly because she's speeding off to babysit her sister or some shit, but I get an immediate reply saying she's only 20 and cant go out to bars

Well, fuck it, I'm 23, and there's a thing called 2 for 1 daqauries down here and they're gigantic ICEE like motherfuckers that'll get you drunk.

I suggest tomorrow we grab two daquaris, and go to the park for a little bit of day drinking and sun.

"Perfect." she texts back.

Perfect. I've got a date.
