I made an observation today, I noticed that my Day Game is pretty weak when it comes to approaching women however when I'm out at night I find it much easier to go up to whoever and get a conversation going. I am not sure why maybe I can't hide in the darkness or something but I decided that I really need to approach more and do it especially during the day since I don't do it nearly as often as I should. I swear by the time I get a few consistent FWBs every girl on this train will recognize me lmao, but seriously guys if you ride the MARC train in Baltimore/DC plenty of cuties on them.

  • It's too early for me (i'm not a morning person)

The MARC train today was basically cancelled and severely delayed due to an unfortunate accident the previous night. I rolled up to the station and noticed what was a mostly empty parking lot and chaos on the platform as people were realizing that they would either have to wait for a train or drive into DC which is basically a 2 hour commute with morning rush hour traffic.

After letting my boss know that I was going to be a little late and I would have to drive in, i got lucky and a train rode up to the platform. Quickly hanging up the phone I locked my car and just jumped onto the train, I had absolutely no idea if it was stopping at Union Station or not which is my stop (the trains were all kinds of fucked up and stopping at random places). I was basically too tired to think straight and just stayed on the train until it arrived at is final stop New Carrollton Station. Once getting off the MARC I got on the local metro and crowded on with everyone else.

A few feet in front of me was a rather attractive shorter girl, she was wearing a green sundress and had shoulder length hair. Small tats here and there as well as a nose ring. I swore I saw her somewhere like a dating site profile or something, as the local train became more and more crowded (these trains are smaller than the MARC) she got closer next to me and was standing there waiting for the train to move. We were cramped together for the most part but I luckily found a seat.

As we made our way slowly into the city I glanced at her a couple of times and even removed my headphones to stand out a bit in case she was checking me out which I am sure she was but I could not tell at all. I really wanted to talk to this girl but I kept making excuses, and not only that I thought if I would talk to her on this crowded ass oddly quiet train she would feel embarrassed. Basically completely wussed out on this girl.

Once this train got to the transfer point I was still in my tired stupor and didn't realize that I boarded the wrong transfer train. I wound up one stop away at the "Waterfront" station in DC. Upon getting off this train I spotted a very cute short haired girl with a nice blue skirt on. She was about my height but a tad bit taller due to her hair. Approaching taller girls doesn't bother me, but for some reason I could not bring myself to talk to her. She was busy playing on her phone and when the train back finally came we boarded. She grabbed the standing pole right next to me and we were off to the next station. I glanced at her once or twice hoping to see if I could get an Indicator of Interest out of her like an eye lock or something but it never came and thus I wussed out again. I regret not approaching this girl the most out of today. I believe I have seen her before since she got off at the same stop I did and that was before I started posting on seddit so I for sure didn't approach that last time either haha.

After arriving at work I was so frustrated at myself that I didn't approach these girls I know I should have, but on the way in I saved some tourist from getting hit by a car so I felt a tiny bit better. During my lunch break I watched cutie after cutie walk by. DC is absolutely full of them and I work in a place with extremely high foot traffic, tourist and otherwise there is simply too many cuties to talk to it's insane and can be a bit overwhelming. Basically every other girl is attractive in this area, what in the hell! As I was mentally beating myself up eating my lunch outside on the roof deck area an attractive Indian girl sat at the table in front of me. I kept thinking to myself "i'm going to approach this...Stop hesitating....GO!...Why haven't you moved yet?" While thinking this to myself I gave a final "fuck it" and approached her with a simple "Excuse me!" she was lightly munching on her sandwich and listening to music. She turns to me and says "yes?" I said to her "Hi, I'm Kenic, what's your name?" with a smile. She replied "Marissa" we shook hands and once I let go I said "There's no way you are eating alone!" getting up slightly from my seat. She holds up her hand in an apologetic manner and says "Yes I am, sorry, I am having a rough day and would rather eat alone right now." Straight up rejection "Ok, no problem. Well I hope your day gets better." I replied.

Normally I would feel like shit after but I stayed in my seat and let my adrenaline rush die down a bit and I felt fine. I reminded myself that yes, I was still alive and unhurt. A rejection is just a rejection, time for me to move on. After a few minutes of finishing my lunch I packed up and left that eatery. For the rest of the day I was basically drowsing at my desk or falling asleep on meeting calls. Had a boring day in general which wasn't that bad in hindsight. While heading back to the MARC train from work I noticed some more cute girls here and there but I honestly didn't feel like approaching them. I wanted to get home and catch some Z's. During the local train back to Union Station I caught a few girls giving me a quick once over but nothing serious, I didn't talk to them anyway so it doesn't matter.

When I got on my final MARC train it was crowded as usual, however I noticed some free seats that had a girl with a very cute face and a nice body (really nice thighs too) sitting by herself reading what I thought was a bible. I sat in the seats adjacent to hers and just honestly gazed at her for a bit while fidgeting in my own seat. I kept thinking "Ok you need to approach, now...GO!" and I said to myself "Screw it" again and went up to her. She was also listening to music, I started with an "Excuse me, hi i'm Kenic. I thought I recognized you from the other day, didn't we sit next to each other before?" I really thought I sat next to this girl yesterday so this wasn't some cheesy pickup line. She smiled back and said "Hey i'm Amy, I don't think we've ever met before" we shook hands and I locked eyes with her. She had laser beams on me! Her eyes were a deep blue too I really liked them. I quickly thought "Well you're pretty cute, I felt like I should say something" she smiled even more and thinking fast I got my stuff from my seat and said "You mind if I sit here?" She said "Sure!" with a slight blush and some serious eye contact.

We talked a bit and she was really cool. She liked to read, liked anime, and was from Germany but lived in Connecticut. She was going to school in Baltimore and didn't have many friends at her school, she didn't go out much either. We talked at length for the duration of the ride. The conversation went to many topics but I mostly let her talk and made sure not to emotionally invest as much as I could. Shout outs to /u/Woujo

As we were talking I did a bit of the triangle gaze thing on her and she responded pretty well to it, I want to note that I ran out of things to say quiet a few times during this convo but she kept it going! I haven't had that happen in a very long time! As I saw my stop approaching I told her to "give me your number so we can go for a beer sometime this weekend" she agreed and I gave her my phone to enter her number in. The doors to my stop opened so we gave each other a really nice tight hug and I made my way out of the train. As I got up she gave one final "Goodbye!" or something like that. I was riding the high of how good this approach went so I can't really remember what she said.

I texted her a few hours later the following "Hey again, it was fun talking with you. I need to check my schedule but we should go for a beer this weekend -Kenic" my intent is to text her on Friday evening if my plans with another girl from a different FR fall through.

So all in all not a bad end to a day of wussing out! Not getting emotionally invested is very very important. During the conversation I tried to keep my thoughts on riding motorcycles and other things I would want to do that would make me happier than seeing her. Stuff like that, I didn't want to give too much when she wasn't giving either. I felt like it helped but I want to try doing that again on another approach. Thanks for reading again, as always tips, tricks and cheat codes would be very helpful.

Update

  • 6/29/17

I thought that today would be good to plan going out for Friday night. Below you will see my full interaction with Amy.

Kenic:

  • Lets go out tommorow night. We can get some food at R house and chat.

Amy:

  • I can't tomorrow, my mom is coming into town. Also, I think I may have given the wrong impression - I enjoyed chatting with you on the train but I'm not interested romantically. If I'm Mistaken, I apologise, I just don't want to be unclear.

Kenic:

  • No prob

So that's that then, I am getting much better with rejection and I am glad that she was upfront with me. Saves us both time! Onto the next.
