Okay, let me start off with the brief history first:

Recently got my hands on a copy of magic bullets, and I am slowly working my way into becoming a PUA. I am slowly getting the basics down, and it is getting pretty smoothly, but I am starting to get hung up on a couple of things.

So now for the actual field report bit of this...

Friends and I go out every week to the mall to do a bit of gaming down at the local game store (dungeons and dragons and stuff like that) as a change of pace from our usual stuff, and while there is little in the way of prospects, there is an exceptionally cute one who works there on that night every time we go there (HB7/8).

Opening is easy. But transitioning from opening into any type of validation is proving difficult for me (in any situation, not just here). I am getting a few IoIs (I think >.>), and generally for someone who has just started, I think I am making headway.

The big problem I am finding now is that I tend to be more of the beta male of the group. I suppose it is natural since everyone in this group of friends is older than me, but it is something that I still want to stop.

I know that there is no easy button for any of this, but any advice is welcome :P

TL;DR
