Ok so a friend and I head out to one of our favorite breakfast/ late night spots to kill some time and grab some coffee (there is typically HB 7-9 either working here or coming here to eat) upon entering we are greeted by a friendly waitress HB 8

Her: Hi did you guys need help (typically you seat yourself at this particular establishment)

Friend: we need a table for two, preferably a big one, we have some studying to do

Her: Oh what are you studying ?? (her body language opens up and she turns away from the register to talk to us)

Friend: Oh we have a class in blah blah

Her: Oh ok well there is open seating in back, or anywhere up here

We decide to have a seat in the section up front on the off chance that she will be our server She approaches and smiles......

Her: I'm glad you guys sat up here, I'm really bored, do you guys want anything to eat ?

Me: just coffee

Her: no food ? are you guys hungover or something ? It is clear now that she is engaging us, and the usual banter does not apply

Me: Is there something really good that you can recomend ? What do you usually get ?

Her: Well, even though I shouldn't be eating (DLV which was weird) I usually get blah blah blah.

Friend: no that's ok, the coffee is fine

She was clearly trying to fish for compliments but we didn't bite, at all.

She comes back wicked quick with the coffee and begins engaging us again Her: So what DID you guys do last night ?

Me: oh we were studying here, what did you do ?

Her: Oh well I went to (theme park) for a special deal and me and my friend and her mom were just hanging out

Friend: Well that's funny because me and him were going to go to that also

Her: Oh my god, you guys TOTALLY should have went, it was a lot of fun

Ok from here on things get fuzzy because somehow alot of information was being thrown at us, for example: her birthday, the fact that she was in school for a similar subject as us etc. etc.

Her: Oh my god is that a (blank) tattooed on your arm ? You are my new best friend, I have an (blank tattoo) here (points to intimate part of her body)

Me: that's cool, actually it's a (similar but different tattoo)

Haha I threw this out there so she wouldn't think I was falling into the OMG we are so alike stuff, it was a very subtle neg (thank you mallrats)

So right here my friend starts telling a story but she is staring at the insides of my forearms where I also have tattoos, and is getting completely sidetracked from my friend

Me: Are you looking at something in particular ?

Her: Yeah the one on the insides of your arms, I'm intrigued

Then she walks away with a smile and comes back almost seconds later

Her: I don't want to be too forward, but the way you're dressed reminds me of this awesome friend (blank) of mine who i want to have babies with.....

I laugh Me: well you can call me (blank) if you want to, but my ACTUAL name is UmeaHC (holds out hand to shake)

Her: I'm HB8 and I'm actually a lot of fun to hang out with

Friend introduces himself and replies

Friend: I see that, it says your name there, and a lot of fun right under it on your badge

Just then A friend of hers walks in and they have a short conversation before she turns around and introduces us to her as her new best friends, we smile and shake and go back to our conversation. When she goes away this time we have a short pow wow in which the words "dude, number close" are whispered

So we ready our stuff and make faces that say sorry we gotta go

Me: you do seem like fun, we should all hang out

Her: yeah we TOTALLY should!

Me: Ok so how we gonna do that ?

I didn't ask her and I didn't need to, I just was looking at her stone faced like "how does that make sense, I'm pretty sure you just picked me up" After a second of consideration she pulls out her ticket with the bill and writes her name and number down.

I swipe it up and say thanks, and we depart with smiles and a "later"

After a couple days of texting, the day 1 is set up for coffee, just me and her, on thursday.

Any help would be awesome, although I know it was pretty much in the bag from the start, I appreciate any info or advice you can give.

I will update after thursday with whats next, until then stay tuned true believers....

TL;DR: Met a 8HB @ diner, wing opened her, helped me number close, moving onto day 1
