Since I have a hard time approaching, I've tried out a new little trick recently. Suprisingly, I have not read about this method online yet. I guess it might be a bit old fashioned? It is actually something that was taught to me by my mother.

I'm curious as to what seddit's opinions regarding this approach style would be. In my opinion right now, it's a superior method in many ways.

I am a 21 year old man, who is really interested in mastering the so called "day game". The problem is so far only my approach anxiety. My outer game, however, is attracting to a lot of women I myself find interesting. It was a sunday afternoon, when enjoying a beer together with a friend, that I first decided to use a new tactic.

There was a girl nearby that caught my interest, as usual. I seemed to be of interest to her as well, as there were some sparks of eye contact during the time I was seated. The story could have ended there, but I would have been left with a feeling of dissapointment in myself for not approaching, as usual. On the way out, I passed her table and forced myself to stop. This was the only hard part. I then gave her a simple "hi", together with a hand written note that I placed on her table. She smiled, and I left the venue. The note only contained my first name together with my number.

Days later a text was recieved from her. It was obvious that she was very interested in seeing me.

  • I did not have to beg her for her number.

  • Single girls who are attracted to you will give you a text. If they don't give you a text, you might would have been able to talk them into giving out their number instead, right? Whereupon you would have had to chase them and spend energy texting them, only to find out they were not even interested.

  • Believe it or not, but most girls consider this to be a brave move.

There are of course many ways to variate this method and to perfect it. But the way I see it is that if they are interested you should not have to perfect anything. It's a bit like IRL tinder matching.

Would love to hear seddit's thoughts and experiences on this type of reversed pickup method.
