Had a great night last night, what started off as an utterly slow night, every club or bar we went to was at less than half capacity, really killing the energy. My wing/fellow redditor and I decide to bounce around, and end up walking into an Irish pub, and were again, disappointed. Maybe 30 people in a bar meant for 300+.

We approach a group of 7 HB's that were just as confused as we were and open with "what's going on tonight, everywhere is dead... where are we headed next?"

We got a lackluster response from one of the girls, just stating they might check out another club across town. We immediately take charge, announce, "Let's go, follow us" - as we get outside they tell us to get in, we look around and notice the stretch limo waiting for them right there. Awesome.

Get in the limo, throw back some nips with them, girl sits right in my buddies lap and we start getting to know everyone.

We ended up at the next club, ordered our own drinks, and Im working kino on one girl, giving the friends high fives, conversation threading was going well. About an hour into it... the girl mentions her husband... morals hit the brakes and I back off, continue being friendly, but switch targets.

Pro-Tip: Check for wedding rings at some point while you are holding her hand.

End up chatting with the HB8 in the group, we get along great, immediate kino, total comfort, she mentions having to be home early, two kids at home. Totally killed my attraction, although I could have rolled with it for one night, not looking for a relationship. Approached the only other HB in the group, same deal, two kids, attraction dead... we end up finishing our drinks, we get back in the limo, but decide to split, have them drop me off at my buddy's bar for after hours.

TL;DR: Got picked up by a bachelorette party and had a great time just practicing some PUA basics.
