tl;dr - How do I close? Do women initiate the whole "wanna watch a movie" or should I?

Met this girl in HS, hadn't talked to her since graduation (2007), but about a month ago saw her at the store with her friend (guy) while I was with my friend (girl). I assume this looked good for me, because my friend's an HB8. I talk to her and we agree to go out to the bar sometime. No type of close, but the plot thickens.

Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago (the story starts in February) and I just hit her up on FB "hey where are you let's hit the bar." She tells me she can't that week but the week after (which is this week) that she'll be on Spring Break. She inboxes me her number, and I use the "hey I think this girl is stalking me..." text for the playful/text game or whatever it's called. She responds well and everything's good.

Last Saturday she texts me asking what's good with me and such, and it was a nice day out. I suggest hitting a restaurant with a bar because I was hungry and she likes to drink beer. Word.

At the restaurant....(last Saturday)

We sit at the bar and start talking about this and that. I maintain eye contact and throw a couple of negs in, but don't smile too much. She tells me how she wakes up craving bong hits, how she's never been in a threesome and she just wants to find ppl who smoke bud but aren't losers (someone like me). We drink some beer and my food comes. I eat, she stealing fries from my plate from time to time.

During the meal we still talk and I initiate/use the unintentional kino i.e. legs touching and stuff, and it seems to be kosher with her. At times she turned to face me when she talked and was constantly playing with her hair. We get on the subject of my family and my step-sisters bat mitzvah, and she exclaims she wants to go. As the conversation moved on she was saying she had shit to do during spring break and wanted to hang out/smoke/drink some more. I tell her next Wednesday my friends and I are going to the bar and she replies that she is more than down to go. Word. After the meal we part ways. No kiss-close or anything, but I am not deterred.

Last Night....

On Monday I texted her "Wednesday. 10pm. Bar." She asks me about the bar and such and leave large gaps in between her responses; two can play that game. Fast forward to Wednesday. She asks me to pick her up; indeed I will. I pick her up and she's looking nice. We get lost in the city and as I drive trying not to break one way laws I ask her about her day and such, and she tells me about how she gets upset/annoyed when her roommates (who are bf and gf) kiss in front of her and such...I can't blame her. We finally get to the bar and my friends are already there.

We all have a good time drinking and such, I paid for her beers because it was dollar beer night, but I still made her give me money for the tip. No free rides here. We get back to my car and as we drive we discuss our respective genitalia and how we go to the bathroom...weird but I take this as a good sign that she feels comfortable around me. We come up on a 7-11 and she asks me to pull in because she has to pee - I as well. In 7-11 we have an exchange that I can't fully recall, but I do remember her playfully saying she would spot me in the bathroom.

After we get back on the road we talk some more, and she goes on about how she's not really looking to get to know anyone, she's only had sex with one guy etc...Either she's not interested or she doesn't want me to perceive her as a loose girl. I'm inclined to go with the latter.

We get back to her place and I drop her off, probably should have walked her in and whatnot. She offered me a bowl but she said it was her emergency stash and she barely has any. Being the guy I am, I decline and say "don't worry about it there's always next time." Set up for date #3 this Friday, and dip out home.

Comments/advice? More over, strategies for closing? I always have trouble with closing.

EDIT: Appreciate all of the comments/advice. Tomorrow night my friends and I are going out again and Wednesday I set up the date for Friday. We'll be near my house so perhaps I'll show her my family's new basement, we just got new carpet put in...

Sad Edit: Got high with her and had a chance but failed to pull the trigger (again)...couldn't initiate kino or anything while I was high, I fucked up hard. Trying to salvage what I can of this but if not, life goes on. Demeaning comments welcome, because well I deserve them.
