Getting at least 1-2 number every week. None have gone anywhere. What should I do now?

This can happen for a couple of reasons.

1 you are steamrolling them into giving you the number. Usually when this happens its because your openers are awesome (dont change that) however, you rely a lot on shit you already have planned out. If this is the case you need to become more flexible with the things you talk about and build more interest in them.

2.They could be giving the digits as an easy escape are you getting the whole "are you on facebook"? alot? If so then this is the case.

As for your not texting back for 3 to 5 hours I wouldn't do that. The reason being is because most girls will have about 2 to 5 people texting them on a pretty regular basis both friends and dudes. So I would wait for about 30 minutes tops, any more then that and your shooting yourself in the foot. Also, set shit up I don't know about you but I hate texting so suggest getting coffee after you get the number once they agree set up something tentatively. For example, if i meet a girl get her number its usually because i've been talking to her for a little bit face to face that is. At the end of our conversation whatever it may be about I'll say "Hey its really good talking to you about this (insert name here) I'd love to continue this conversation at a later point (pull phone out look down at the screen) so whats your number. (note not a question a statement) Ok so lets get some coffee sometime this week maybe thursday or sunday." Plant that little seed in there head and you'll be able to reap the rewards later.

Are you using the numbers to setup a future date? Don't waste time txting back and forth...setup a time and place to meet...coffee, gym, any fun social activity (no movies).

I ah e the same issue and always try to set up a date the next day. I always Fail so hard.

Honestly man, I wouldn't sweat it too much.

You seem like a guy who is genuinely trying to study what's going on, and you probably know that flakes are all a part of the learning experience. Keep this in mind - there's no magic bullet for this problem. It's something I, and probably everyone else, has gone through at some point.

Just keep number closing, and approach every day 2 setup phonecall/text as practice. As you gain more experience, you'll find they just start falling in place. Over-thinking it is just going to mess with your head. Don't let the flakes keep you up at night.

My guess is that you aren't building enough attraction. You are probably establishing a lot of rapport, but like me, you probably fall into the area where you are afraid to let your intentions be known. So you sit, converse, and don't try to escalate/kino in the hopes that she'll just somehow fall madly for your great conversational skills. Maybe try setting up a date, then getting a number.
