Well that’s the problem with doing it online. It’s useless because you can’t escalate and one false move and you’re fucked.

Chalk it up to experience and wait til you can get out and do it properly

Women will want to virtual date all day because it’s attention but men get nothing from it because it can’t lead to sex - which ultimately is what most men want.

Yo man, congrats! You put yourself out there and had the balls to have a date - you took your shot. She wasn't all that into you - no stress. Plenty of other girls who will be.

I know rejection hurts, but read this. Then give yourself a pat on the bat. You have balls; more balls than 99% of men. Now go out there and talk to more girls; the only way to dull the sting of rejection is to keep moving forward and keep hitting on more girls.

if someone is interested, they won't ghost you. I know it hurts, i know it sucks, but try to find a positive in that. And i'm not saying ignore the pain, on the contrary, feel it, integrate it, let it know you find it valid. But how can you move on? well, see this as a girl who removed herself from your life and made you not waste time, unlike other girls who would have strung you along for weeks.

What can you do for the future? Did you really like her? did you evaluate and make her qualify enough, or would you say you were the chasing one, the one making the conversation during the date? Maybe that's something you can work on.

Any particular reason you did a facetime date? Are you in area with stay at home?

If you could I would just push for a walking date at a bare minimum. Its easy to socially distance and just being with the person just improves your odds and you can learn a lot more as you can read body language. If things go well with a 20-30 minute walk just invite her to sit down on the grass with you and continue the conversation.

Also this is one of my issues with online dating is that girls that use these sites often expect sparks or they just move onto the next guy on their list. They have pick of the litter online and theres a reason that 80% of the women go with 20% of the guys on online platforms.

Refocus, think of one or two areas you could improve and try and fix them next time. Doing is the best way to learn. If you are anything like me it will take quite a number of rejections before your mind starts to figure out what works and what doesnt. I started really late so just keep at it and you will get there.

I think the problem was you spent an hour. Was this all just questions/convo? Did you actually set-up a virtual 'date' with glass of wine etc. Personally if your just FT a girl, keep 15-20 minutes max! Unless your really connecting and having an amazing convo. However i'd still keep it timed.

1.) Facetime dates blow.

2.) If you're going to do a facetime date, keep it much shorter. An hour on facetime is way too long. I had a girl randomly facetime me the other day while she was making dinner, kept it to 10 minutes or so. As soon as we ran out of obvious things to talk about I cut it off.

Yup.

I’m trying to stay away from FaceTime dates cause you can’t do so many fundamental things that game is all about, such as eye contact, physicality, and escalation. They’re okay once you already went on a few dates with her in real life and she already knows who you are, and I guess they’re good for subtly showing her around your place so once you pull, she’ll already recognize your place.

But other than that, I don’t really see another upside to them.
