I realise you probably came here for a quick fix, but that's not how this works. Real talk (and you're not gonna like it): if you're a shy guy who never talks to women and can't hold a conversation with a stranger, then no matter what we say it's not going to work for you. Although I doubt you'll even muster the balls to go up to her, because approaching girls is not something you normally do.

u/folasanmi put it pretty well. There is no "magic bullet". You can't expect a toddler to start running before it learned to walk properly, and you can't expect to pick up this one specific chick if you never even talk to strangers or socialise much.

Just say hello. But be careful to pay attention to whether or not she seems uncomfortable and DO NOT ask her where she is going.

You could try asking her about something she has, like a book. But if she’s reading or listening to music, don’t interrupt. She probably won’t appreciate it.

Whatever you do, start small. Gauge whether she wants to talk to you, and go from there. And she might not want to talk to a stranger on a bus, so don’t take it personally if she doesn’t seem interested.

I’m a social butterfly so when I want to talk to someone I look for something about them, on them, what there doing etc.. and make a comment about it while a big smile and usually in a manner that is jovial... it’s usually a good ice breaker... OR You could catch her eye tomorrow and smile and go about your bus ride... then the next time your waiting for the bus.. catch her eye again and as another post indicated... ask her “do you come here often” and laugh... go from there

A girl you see often is a great candidate for non direct game. No flirting, no intent, just go try to have a fun convo. Dont force it, back off every now and then, give her room to chase after you. Be willing to let her go. If somewhere along the way you notice shes having a lot of fun with you and seems into you, pull some triggers.

Keep it short and sweet, try to remember some of the topics that you both talked about it previous conversation(girls like that shit) also if you are going to compliment her make sure that its on an item that shes wearing never about her look(many guys have done that I'm sure) or just don't do what every other guy would do.

You need to make approaching a regular part of your day. Maybe arrive 20 min early to the bus stop to approach more women you see there. We can give you this one line to say that is on paper a good opener but if you aren’t practicing your pickup skill regularly no matter how this interaction goes your overall success with women will be mediocre.

Direct: “ my name is__ I would like to share my company with you sometime. Here is my number.” This only works if she’s giving iOis like staring.

Indirect: I’m new to the area. Do you know if any places to get a cup of Coffee” proceed to build some rapport with some teases.
