I met a girl that told me she gives random, frequently unattractive names to herself (e.g. Beatrice, Eleanor, etc.) to guys that approach her.

Any theories as to why she does this? Otherwise that for the fact of complete disinterest for the guy approaching? It's kind of brilliant in the fact she stays so anonymous. It's like giving out fake numbers, but to a higher degree.
