Hey folks, is going bald really bad? Or does it not really matter? I'm 24 (25 in 2 months) and have been losing my hair for about 4 years now. It's never really been too much of a problem to my self-esteem until about a year or 2 ago when it became noticeable to others.
Lucky for me i have a decent looking mug (i've been told i'm good looking), but the state of my hair is starting to worry me. It's quite thin and wispy on top now. I also have darkbrown/black hair so seeing my scalp is really noticeable. (i really should shave it down but i'm hanging on a bit haha) It's a shame because my hair style used to be really awesome, and i used to really like my appearance. But it's starting to eat away at my pride. Now i feel a bit less sexy/confident/attractive to women.
Anyway, it doesn't bother me TOO much. Without sounding cliche, what counts is what's internal. It is true. But the part that concerns me is how it will affect my chances in the field. What do women think of it? Do they see it as "gross" or "creepy"? Or am i just being negative? Are my days of picking up hot babes over? Are there any balding fellas out there with experience with this?
Cheers!
