Yesterday, I approached a couple of girls on a college campus. I approached the second girl who’s Snapchat I got by stopping her and telling her I thought she was cute and wanted to come introduce myself. She said thank you but that she really had to go because she had a bunch of homework to do and asked if I had Snapchat. I pulled out my phone and suggested we exchange numbers but she told me that she insisted we exchanged Snapchat’s instead. As I was putting her Snapchat in my phone, I asked her a couple questions like what she is majoring in and what year she was. She asked me if I go to school here and I told her I recently graduated. After I added her on Snapchat, she told me she would love to talk more but that she really had to go and I told her that’s fine and that I would hit her up on Snapchat. A few hours later, she added me back and I messaged her on there telling her that it was nice to meet her and if she would like to hang out sometime and get to know each other better. She left me on read and a few minutes later I saw that she blocked me.

Things I did well:

  1. Made the approach with a direct opener.
  2. Went for the close and insisted on exchanging numbers instead of Snapchat, but still got the Snapchat.

Things I could have done better

  1. Perhaps I should have waited until the next day to ask her out?

    What do you guys honestly think of this situation and why she did what she did? Any feedback?
