I started going out about a month ago, and found a couple of guys in the area who I go out with on a regular basis. One of them recommended I keep a journal for every time I go out, and try and record every set that is opened.

I've started doing so and even in the short time I've had it, it has started to really break down a lot of my sticking points. I try and pinpoint every interaction in detail and I can see where I hooked the set, and where I might have screwed up. It becomes clear when you see it in writing, but you MUST be honest with yourself about the set.

At the end of every entry, I write the lessons learned, and I put those lessons into my phone and try to read them when I'm out to keep my mind on track instead of allowing myself to fall back into my usual habits.
