I have pretty bad AA, I have read a lot of material on how to overcome it, but none really helped. I finally open up to my older brother about my struggles. He tells me "have the courage to be disliked". It is not a novel idea at all, but having it put like that flipped a switch in my head.
Approaching is now fun, rejections are fun. I realize having fun is the prority. I don't worry about what to say, because I say things that are fun to me. Sometimes it goes well, most times it does not. What doesn't change is that I am having a good time. You would be surprised how much game you have when you are enjoying yourself.
